Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Ecnered R — 31 Dec 2010
Awesome film, Hitchcock first hitting his stride. Interesting to see how many things established in this film will be used through out his entire career. Most of the issues I have with this film are a result of not having the same concept of pacing that we have today and I feel that's something that is something you see with films of the era not actually a fault of this film or director specifically.
