'The 33' is a serviceable film but it lacks any momentum or real emotion. The characters recite dialogue that the real people that this movie is about would never say. Some of the actors overact and some of the casting of the characters are woefully cast with American or French actors.
This movie left me cold and a documentary on the subject would have moved me more.
