Review of The 300 Spartans (1962) by Eric On His Fantasy Quest V — 26 Jan 2008
It's the historical Battle of Thermophylae, fought between 300 Spartans headed by Leonidas and thousands of Persians headed by Xerxes. "The 300 Spartans" is an interesting ancient war epic, and in fact, that's what inspired Frank Miller to create his "300" graphic novel.
...and a 2007 remake. My interest in the historical Battle of Thermophylae is just beginning to rise....
