Review of The 15:17 to Paris (2018) by Christian C — 09 May 2018
It's painful to watch this acting & this movie is surprisingly lacking in direction. The strangest decision is to cast the actual people as its intentionally fallen into docudrama territory .It just doesn't work.
Mr Eastwood has dropped the ball on this occasion & it's unexpected as he's proven himself as a formidable director. Largely the casting & direction is at fault but it's also the writing that falls flat,as lines are spat out awkwardly even the child actors are unconvincing.
It's a real shame as the premise could have potential as a slow building intense drama.
