Based on the 'reviews' I wasn't expecting much. But, this is a very good movie. Earnest, heart tugging, clunky, hints of The Best Years of Our Lives and Frank Capra, it's, well, American.
The theater was full in uber liberal Evanston, and everybody seemed to love it.
