Review of The 13th Warrior (1999) by Hamdy E — 17 Mar 2011
The action scenes needed tweaking, the lines needed help, but the adventure was entertaining. It's one of those movies that digs you into the action scenes and effectively enchants you, but keeps you uninterested in the plot. A little more concentration on the action scenes could have created a masterpiece since the plot is fairly simple but profound due to the historical relevance.
Empathizing with the characters was also an addiction. The last scene was an epic fight scene that gives you the goosebumps and might be up there with the best action scenes for this genre.
