Review of The 13th Warrior (1999) by Jiana W — 16 Jan 2012
This movie isn't really *great*, but for some reason I still like it. There's just something about it that draws me in. The plot itself is intriguing to me and I like Antonio Banderas in just about anything he's in.
The execution of the movie is a little disoriented and under-developed. Ibn Fadlan's relationship with the blonde girl is very poorly developed. She's in about two or three scenes with him and she makes no appearance when he leaves, even though they formed a sort of bond while he was there.
