Review of The 13th Warrior (1999) by Gavin B — 18 Jul 2008
I loved the film.. I loved the acting. It was let down by not being long enough.
So much could have been made of this. The idea could have been extended into two films. Sadly because of a lack of length the story didn't get devloped. I didn't care much when leads were killed. I should have cared but he was simpley "Good Norse man 3 with an Axe".
I think a overhaul on industry ideals should be done. Some films need to be shorter and some need more time. Sadly I think the writters and director of this film misse dout on a money making opportunity.
