Review of The 100 Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared (2013) by Robin V — 12 Jan 2015
How strange the accompanying photo to this movie--nowhere does this pink elephant costume appear in the movie I just saw.
From about 40 minutes in, Forrest Gump and Fargo kept battling it out for most-reminiscent-of influence. the way the characters are (mostly) so non-plussed by the extraordinary events that follow--and precede-- the climbing out of the window, that distinctly non-Hollywood overtone, was what tipped it to more Forrest Gump, which I loved, than Fargo, which has never been a film I could appreciate. I loved the memory loss.
