Review of The 100 Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared (2013) by Jon P — 29 Mar 2017
Felix Herngren's absurdist gem plays like a Swedish Forrest Gump on speed.
Dastardly, daring and disturbingly funny, the film sniggers at history and revels in its own unique brand of consistently daft hilarity.
This dimly-titled picture offers more laughs per minute than most Hollywood comedies can manage in a three-film franchise. Its character actors are superb, its imagination is boundless and its pace is so fast, you barely get a moment to catch your breath between gags. Quick-fire silliness hasn't hit this hard in years.
