Review of That Obscure Object of Desire (1977) by Byron B — 26 Nov 2008
Bunuel ends his career not with a whimper but with a bang. He does a brilliant job of making you sympathize with a character that isn't exactly bad, but is definitely more than a little chauvinistic.
An excellent commentary on the idea of lusting after the things we can't have.
