Review of That Obscure Object of Desire (1977) by Buddy K — 12 Mar 2010
Painful to watch in that Bunuel deftly skewers respectability, propriety, and the best of intentions. The fact that this is his last film and it's filled with such potent venom is remarkable. Rey, Bouquet, and Molina are superb.
I'm eager to watch this one again.
