Review of That Awkward Moment (2014) by Jiwanda B — 02 Mar 2015
Okay, if you can get over a few things like:
1. As is typical these days, guys in movies are longing for girls who live like whores, taking off their panties on day one. These end up being the ones they marry, well, aside from a few castaways here and there, all of them down with the panties on the first date.
2. Visuals of masturbating and talking about masturbating.
3. Taking a crap and talking about it.
4. A visit to an adult store, which of course finds no problem in the theme of Hollywood we-are-all-sluts genre common today.
5. The becoming increasingly more common one black friend in the plot and following that, black guy gets white girl.
After those essentially requisite additions, some of them part of the effort to brainwash America into the moral framework of atheist humanism, the film actually includes decent acting offering likable characters that as movies try for, make you want to find out how everything finishes. I would say well above the 23% average by reviewers.
