This one of those romantic comedies that is so predictable you know exactly how the film will end. The problem with romantic comedies is that they're overdone, use the same formula over and over again and rename each movie and slightly change the story.

With The Awkward Moment, you have yet another run of the mill dull, unfunny rom com that simply is a waste of time. There is no good jokes here, and the performances, story and the way the director seems to try and make this work feels just so strained.

Don't expect a great film with one, this is one of the worst comedies that I have seen in a while, and it just fails to really be entertaining, fun and memorable. Don't expect anything with this film, because you'll surely be disappointed, this is your typical genre film, and it relies on every cliché in the book to create its "plot", the result is an awful mess with poor acting, lame jokes that fizzle out, and a pointless story that we've seen a million times before.

Watch something else; you'll be glad you did. That Awkward Moment is really when you realize that you wasted your time on such a lazy, crafted film. The director clearly didn't care about making a good effort while making the film, because if he did, we wouldn't have gotten such an awful film.

I personally feel that they should stop making these types of comedies because they never seem to work or get it right, and the result is very apparent when you watch this film. This might have had some potential if there would have been a better cast, better jokes and ultimately a far better script than what we got, but as it is, this is a poorly made film that is definitely not worth your time, and it's one to avoid.
