Review of Texas Killing Fields (2011) by Deanne F — 01 Nov 2011
A reasonably good thriller but easily forgettable still. Although boasting some solid performances, particularly Morgan & Moretz, & some intense thrills, the script does let it down a bit. Chastain's character is wasted and the introduction of other characters isn't quite clear.
However, despite its flaws, it is well directed by Mann (daughter of the brillaint Michael Mann) and delivers on what it promises.
