Review of Texas Killing Fields (2011) by Philip P — 02 Feb 2012
This film is inspired by true events but I found it a bit disappointing. Lacking excitement and a bit boring at times. In the first 10 minutes of the film I sensed who the killer was! Sometimes I can look at certain faces and just tell things and on this one I was right on the money, in the first 10 minutes wow! Also want to point out that Texas City Texas is a depressing town! OMG, the crew was filming in some nasty neighborhoods where as Sam Worthington pointed out not even God goes to that place.
Its a very depressing film in terms of the surroundings, life of the persons of interest, what a homicide detective has to deal with day in and day out (I would never want that career), and of course the body count as they keep piling up.
