Review of Tetro (2009) by Kelly L — 23 Jun 2009
This is a five star movie, without question. Vincent was his typical captivating self (this would be my 3rd Gallo film, so I'm a Gallo semi-pro); he carries this film, but his co-stars hold their own.
In my humble opinion, this was a postmodern masterpiece. There are very few films that combine all of my favorite aspects of life: poetry, dysfunction, music, and stunning visuals. This is one of those films.
I need the soundtrack. And I need to watch this film again.
