Review of Tetro (2009) by Scott M — 27 Dec 2009
Some stunning B&W cinematography combined with a strong performance from Vincent Gallo make this worth seeing. This is Coppola entering his pretentious art house stage, although I would hardly call that a bad thing, because at least he's making movies with heart again (something I wish George Lucas would take a hint from and do).
There's a lot here for Coppola to be proud of: the look, the story, the acting, it all works really well. I enjoyed this film a lot, and would recommend people check it out.
