Review of Tetro (2009) by Pedro T — 15 Jan 2013
I really enjoyed this film. Despite a fairly weak ending the majority of Tetro features beautiful cinematography, creative storytelling and a terrific cast. Vincent Gallo shines as a conflicted writer in Buenos Aires struggling with scars from a tumultuous family history which rise to the surface after a surprise visit from his estranged brother.
Gallo gives us a taste of madness, rage, humor and touching emotion in a wonderful performance.
