WWI through Vera Brittains eyes and based on her best selling book. A once promising academic career in Oxford cut short by her need do be of use during the war. A nice period drama and continued development of one of the most talented young actresses working today.
Alicia Vikander is in splendid form as Vera a strong and intelligent woman in the early part of the 20th century. Recommended.
