Review of TerrorVision (1986) by Timothy S — 19 Jun 2013
Classic Charles Band nonsense about a family's new satellite TV system receiving signals from another planet, which then becomes the gateway to an alien world. In a lot of ways, the film reminded me of the similarly over-the-top garish 80s sci-fi comedy "Earth Girls are Easy," which would come out a few years later.
Taken on it's own, it's enjoyable in an intentionally campy sort of way. The film also features a better than average cast a Band production, which includes Diane Franklin, Gerrit Graham, Mary Woronov, Bert Remsen, Jon Gries and monster voices by the great Frank Welker.
Silly, but enjoyable if you're in the right mood.
