Review of Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975) by Michael S — 05 Jan 2008

Okay, Classic Godzilla Fans- this one's for you! This movie is the sequal to "Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla", starting up not too long afterwards with a submarine searching for the bits of Mechagodzilla... too bad they meet up with Titanosaurus.

This is definately Classic Godzilla- the rubber suits, bright sparkling explosions, and several sets of model buildings being destroyed in the process. "Modern" film fans my not enjoy this due to the extremely low budget nature of the film (and definate lack of CGI), but for those people that were raised on the Toho Godzilla, get out the soda pop, the pop corn, and get ready to cheer for your favorite rubber monster.

This is a film that I have no problem watching with friends... possibly as part of a Classic Godzilla Marathon...
