Some parts of this indie/coming-of-age film were quite likeableâ"particularly scenes with john c. reilly. I never really knew where it was goingâ"which can turn out to be good or bad. ultimately though I thought it was pretty uneven, a bit too flat, and had one of those annoying non-endings.
