This is just a stunning movie. It is full of beautiful performances (with the exception of Jack Nicholson, who doesn't seem to have any idea what he's doing). Shirley MacLaine is flawless, and Debra Winger is lovely and charming- a strange cross of Gilda Radner and Zooey Deschanel.
It's a beautiful story beautifully told, and the ending will have you in tears.
