This movie has great actings and a very good script! Debra Winger is phenomenal, her scene with her character's two sons is highly emotional and one of the best in the history of movies, and Jeff Daniels does a very realistic job as a lowly effectual colleges professor! The portrayal of a marriage of two persons, they shouldn't be married, is excellent!
