Review of Terms of Endearment (1983) by Starry Starry Nite — 10 May 2008
After hearing about how many awards this movie pulled away I thought it was a must watch, but after actually seeing it I was a bit let down. It wasn't anything special at all. I was first thrown off at how the movie jerked forward in time when I least would expect it, the soundtrack was way too cheesy, and I constantly stuggled with which relationship bothered me more.
There were some good performances and I'd consider this a decent movie, but I felt a bit let down by James L. Brooks.
