Review of Terminator Salvation (2009) by Christopher B — 01 Jul 2015
The Future here feels dreary as hell, not dark & scary enough as expected! This Terminator movie doesn't feel like one; it only has some of the robots and a few crucial characters from the franchise.
This is more like a dull, cliched, humorless war movie with very shallow characters, limited development, a thin plot and bland action. To be fair, some actions beats are mindlessly thrilling and the character of Marcus Wright is interesting enough, not to mention the only one with an actual story arc! This mostly pointless entry lacks the tension, humor and heart of the first two great Terminator movies.
