In terms of storytelling, "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" has nothing on its predecessor, but in terms of raw entertainment and visceral thrills, few films are better. It's James Cameron's best outing as a director, showcasing his unbelievable ability at orchestrating memorable action sequences.
The film follows a predictable narrative after opening with a nearly impeccable half hour, but the filmmaking is so fresh and ingenious that you're unlikely to notice.
