Review of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) by Mackenzie H — 10 Aug 2013
Wow. James Cameron can really make a sequel. First he makes Aliens, then he makes this. This is one of my favorite Sci-Fi action movies ever, if not one of my favorite action movies ever. This is also the first film sequel I have seen where the main antagonist from the first film becomes one of the main protagonists in the second film (although technically, it is the same type of cyborg, but a different one that has been programmed as a Protector).
This is a great action movie. The T-1000 was awesome and the visual effects used where the most groundbreaking of its time, until Jurassic Park which hit theaters about 2 years after this did. One of the most surprising things about this movie is the depth of human emotion of not only the humans, but Schwarzenegger's cyborg character.
This is one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies ever.
