Review of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) by Abraham S — 30 Oct 2013
Definitely one of the best sci-fi action films of the decade, Judgement Day is forever relevant and forever entertaining - ensuring Arnold Schwarzenegger's continued pop-icon status for the next generation.
I loved this movie as a kid and grew to appreciate it even more as an adult. James Cameron's remarkable talent is on display in every scene here. This film, for me, hearkens back to a silver age of cinema where directors had something to prove - where their passion was poured into their work because they knew they had to do the best that they could or no one would pay attention.
Cameron definitely put out the best Terminator film he could and the best to date in spite of a few sequels throughout the years. I have seen this more times than any other film in my entire life. I know every single line.
I'd watch it again any day of the week.
