Review of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) by Tatsuhito K — 06 Jun 2015
One of the greatest sci-fi action films of all time. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is packed with exciting action sequences and revolutionary visual effects, but the reason why this film works so well is the great depth of the human characters that you don't see very often in a big-budget sci-fi flick.
Kudos to James Cameron for keeping the film stay grounded and intimate, while throwing eye-popping special effects and never taking the audience out of the experience. This is one hell of a ride. It is filmmaking at its finest.
