Terminator 2: Judgement Day is THE and ONLY sequel that even James Cameron returned to do, even after 7 years since he made the first movie. Its even the only sequel that fans have said to even defeat the original.
Do I agree this time after re-watching it? YES, F*CKING YES! As a fan of the series since I was a kid, this movie brings a lot of the good memories I enjoyed from the film (and even with the fans of the series).
The performances from Arnold to Robert Patrick are SUPERB, the story gets more original and intense and adds more to Judgement Day from the last film, the special effects and action hold up so well that it won FOUR OSCARS, the emotions get very strong with John Connor and the T-1000 (or the Terminator), the tension gets even higher, and the sequel that looked to have ended the two films.
Well, until things got VERY DOWNHILL for the franchise.
