Review of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) by Josh K — 26 May 2013
Terminator 2: Judgment Day stands out there as one of the greatest sequels, as well as one of those sequels that is also far superior to the first. The film takes place several years after the first, with a robot sent back in time in order to protect the soon to be leader of the rebellion, while another robot is sent back in time to kill him.
Arnold Schwarzenegger this time depicts a good guy and delivers a terrific performance, while also allowing the other actors to shine in their own moments. Robert Patrick depicts the villainous T1000 and steals the show whenever he appears.
The special effects are highly improved from the first, while the story is also much more epic, putting forth further questions and answers, while also delivering more incredible action scenes. The film also ends with the possibility that maybe this franchise was better as two films, instead of continuing it with further sequels without James Cameron.
This film will definitely stand the test of time.
