Review of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) by Steffen S — 28 Jul 2014
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. In this case, Cameron wanted to work with new visual effects and he let that drive the story--really, a liquid robot! I found it painful to suspend my disbelief while watching the mercury-like T-1000 morphing around bars and into helicopters.
The third installment of the series at least gave some humor about it. In T-2, Edward Furlong is a caricature of the troubled and rebellious teenager. I don't know which is less plausible, the viscous villain or junior jerk.
Two stars because the T-800 still gets half its facial skin blown off.
