Review of Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006) by Brett H — 22 Apr 2014
Not a laugh-riot, but there are enough silly moments and random cameos to make it a breezy, forgettable watch. Not being the biggest fan of Tenacious D's music, it's not totally impenetrable and offers a fun legend-of-rock type of story and Jack Black and Kyle Gass are clearly having fun.
It's a very average comedy and that's all there is to it.
