I do not own any Tenacious D albums, nor have I ever seen any previous work by this band other than a music video that aired on MTV several years ago. However, I must say that 'The Pick of Destiny' is the most sustained comedy of the year with Kevin Smith's 'Clerks II.
' I found this rock musical comedy to be gut bustingly hilarious, a film I could most assuredly watch again and again. The manic energy, unchecked enthusiasm, and uninhibited extremely well choreographed comedy stagings make this one of the very best comedies of 2006.
