Review of Ten Inch Hero (2007) by Ana S — 14 Dec 2008
"Ten Inch Hero" revolves around a group of friends working at a sandwich shop in Santa Cruz: Piper, a girl searching for her kid that was taken from her several years ago. Jen, the humanistic computer nerdish girl that longs for a relation. Tish, the hot girl that goes through guy after guy and not finding the right one. And finally.
Priestely, a neo punk that seems to hide his true self behind his punk attitude. And the sandwich shop is owned by the aging surfer hippie Trucker, that has as well some hidden truths.
To be honest, this is quite crappy in my eyes. I was expecting something much much better. I reckon the foundation is there, but how it has been handled is just not good. This feels like a bad tv show at times and the story is so stereotypical and sugarcoated so I was cringing several times during the running time. Thus, I can not agree with my fellow Facebook critics that seems to like "Ten Inch Hero".
