Review of Ten Canoes (2006) by Jaime L — 18 Jun 2007
I think the setting was fantastic, just stunning. But I did not find the national-geographic-cut-and-paste cinematography to be very inspiring. As an aboriginal folklore tale, this movie could have easily captured the mystery and enchantment of Northern Australia, but it fell short.
The story was quaint, but somewhat flat. I still enjoyed watching the film, and I would say that it's worth seeing it on the big screen.".
