Review of Tell Your Children (1938) by Real G — 04 Apr 2005
SYNOPSIS:.
Propaganda film that relates the story, as told by high school principal Dr. Carroll to parents at a PTA meeting about the hideous dangers of marijuana.
RATING: UR.
RUN TIME: 1 hour, 7 minutes.
REVIEW:.
The only thing this film has going for it is its short run time. Other than that, this film is so utterly unwatchable and annoying. Granted, the severely dated material (this film was made in 1938) just does not play well in modern times. The message of marijuana being a sinister drug being pounded into our heads over and over again gets to be very redundant and annoying. If you're a pothead, you'll probably get a lil kick out of it, but no amount of weed can make this film funny. Sorry.
