Review of Tell No One (2006) by Cthonus C — 08 Jul 2009
Your heart will pump, your mind will try to keep up, and if you can, it's one heck of a ride. The only problem is that when the ride is over and you've figured everything out, then you're done.
It's sort of like riding a roller coaster by yourself. It's still a good deal of fun, but it's not the same as riding it with someone else. The film's a lot of fun but there really aren't any relationships that develop during the film that culminate in any emotional attachment for the viewer.
When the film ends, there isn't any lingering feeling, other than a sore brain from having to think so hard. That's a good feeling depending on who you are, but it's just a bit too hollow for me to say this is one of the best of the year.
