Review of Tekken (2010) by Adam E — 22 May 2011
Video game movies suck, it's as simple as that, and Tekken does little to amend that statement. Basically, it's a deadly tournament flick with the usual plot layout and character relations. Some nifty choreography, sure, but I'd expect as much from a film like this.
Of course, as I am not a fan of the games, I probably missed a ton or two of references. Not that I can imagine the movie being any better if I had understood every aspect of the franchise.
