One day, somebody might take a videogame license and make a film that does more than just follow the game. Until then, we'll continue to get films like this: it's based on a game wheree characters beat each other up, and that's exactly what they do in the film.

Acting is suspect, plot is ropey, there is some character work, and the fights look good. if you're a fan of the game, it's worth a watch.
