Review of Tekken (2010) by Brendan N — 25 Apr 2012
I tried my hardest to judge this as a movie on it's own merits and, on its own merits, it's not half bad. The action scenes are handled well, the writing and acting is pretty good for a video game movie and they manage to get the character likeness right.
However, there are a couple of characters (Anna and Miguel in particular) who don't seem to have a point. Also there are a few characters (most notably Paul, Hwoarang and King) that are left absent.
These disappointments aside, Tekken is one of the better video game movies.
