Review of Teeth (2000) by Allan C — 31 May 2012
If David Cronenberg were to make a comedy, I'm sure it would be something along the lines of "Teeth". Unfortunately, the wild concept behind the film does't quite pan out as well as you would hope.
The strongest aspect of the film is the lead actress, Jess Weixler, who brings heart and sincerity to a role that could have easily been played quite broadly, and makes you really care for her characters despite the absurdist premiss.
