Slightly better than the original but as much as it looks good, your left deflated by having silly cartoon-made characters acting out on screen. Some children's cartoons don't translate well into the live-action big screen and I think TMNT is one of them.
Kudos to trying though, and all it's references to the source material is very impressive.
