Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) by Maverickneo — 06 Jun 2016
SOLID 7/10. TMNT. The premise is ridiculous to begin with. The famous 80's cartoons were silly, ridiculous and funny. If you enjoyed the 80's cartoons this is a movie made for the fans. Do not go in here taking it seriously. It will win no academy awards. Plot is simple as if they took it from a Saturday morning cartoon...The movie is fun, silly and ridiculous. Great TMNT movie. Great 80s characters as well. Don't let the critics trick you into not seeing this.
A lot of the 80s characters are there. Shredder, Bebop, rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, Krang, a garbage truck that throws manhole covers (just like the 80s toy) Dimension X, Foot clan and a surprise at the end.
