Save your money. Nowhere near as good as the first.
First, the CGI. The turtles were great, but all the new animation was terrible. In the very first scene you get to see Rocksteady and Bebop, Rocksteady looks like claymation. It is that bad. Not only that but all the scenes with the Krang look like PS3 gameplay from Fallout 3. Yeah, gameplay from a $250 console. WTF.
The writing was pretty bad too. It's almost like the movie was hijacked or simply the product of warring screen-writers. Needlessly there are two villains; it is forced. And awful.
Don't even rent this. Just pretend it doesn't exist. Put it in that place you keep Highlander 2 and Terminator 3. Maybe the next one will be better.
