Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) by Finn C — 01 Jul 2016
This is definitely better than the first film, it includes so many more themes from the original comics and 80s TV series and including some of the best characters like bebop and rocksteady, having said that they do include krang who I felt at points was taking away from shredder but at the same time not being compelling. Also, Megan fox is still April 'O Neil.
And still sucks. Casey Jones was also in this film and was possibly one of the best characters. The effects were also so much better in this film and the turtles actually didn't look like a creepy version of Shrek. speaking of the turtles they focused on them this time instead of on the human characters which I really liked.
To sum up, this is definitely more a film for fans more than a casual audience.
