Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) by Max A — 20 Jul 2017
It's got many things that fans have wanted to see in a TMNT movie, but it's done in such a mediocre way that it's forgettable. Bebop and Rocksteady are done fairly well, but the film absolutely failed in its portrayal of Shredder and Krang.
Casey Jones is alright, but a bit too much of a baby faced hero and not enough of a tough vigilante that I expect from that character. Overall, it's better than the previous TMNT film, but that's not really too difficult of a task.
It's watchable, but I suspect this franchise to be rebooted again in the near future.
