Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016) by Tom R — 01 Oct 2016
While it was really cool to see bebop and rocksteady on the big screen in live action form it wasn't enough to save this movie from being a mess. It was just a ton of individual fun things from the cartoon throw into a movie.
At least the first one had a bit of a story and depth. This one gave us bebop, rocksteady, the turtle van, casey jones, krang, human turning ooze and more foot klan. That's a lot of cool material used in one movie.
I wish there had just been more to this movie. Also, it's still ironic ot me that Micheal Bay had Megan Fox booted off transformers, but then goes right back to her in these movies. Speaking of Micheal Bay it definitely has that explosion vibe if his movies are your thing.
